We have stayed here 2 weeks and loved it. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room is tastefully done and had everything we needed, including a little kitchen with two hot plates, oven, microwave and fridge. The location is fabulous: 2 minutes walk from Takapuna beach. Also close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again and are sad to be leaving

This place is a hidden gem!! The location to the beach is beyond fabulous- walking to all shops and eating areas - the accommodation itself is beautiful so well maintained , the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond.. the managers were so helpful and accommodating- the top floor rooms got a lovely sea breeze - they supply fans as no air con but if your upstairs the breeze is enough to cool the room … we are so happy and we will be back

Stayed here on Saturday and absolutely loved it!! Rooms are clean and spacious. Setting with trees and flowers is beautiful. Location is 10/10 (we had a show at the Bruce Mason centre so was a few mins walk). Only thing I noticed was the pool needs a clean and it would be great to have proper loungers as the cushions provided weren’t very comfy. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back

We stayed in room 540, beautiful room lovely and clean, we didnt use the spa bath, so can't comment. Able to park the car outside, walk to resturants and beach. We arrived late as the flight was delayed 5hours. Emailed the reception was told intructions would be on the reception door. Washing machine and dryer a bonus, lovely pool and seating area. Reception staff were very friendly and abke to point us in the right directions for everything, also lent us an umbrella for the odd showers. Would highly recommend The Emerald

We had such a delightful stay! From the minute we arrived (after a harrowing international flight) we were welcomed by James who was pleased we made it. Our room was ready early and overlooked the beautiful pool and garden space. The high ceilings and large tub were fantastic perks! They changed out our towels after the first day, and were willing to give recommendations for restaurants, shops, and sites to explore. Great value and location

What a beautiful garden setting right near the town centre but we honestly couldn't hear any traffic noise from our room overlooking the pool and gardens and felt like we were another world away. Such beautiful gardens. The apartment itself needed a bit of maintenance as a few things were showing age and broken but I can't fault the cleanliness and every day our room was serviced as was spotless. The pool was freezing as it doesn't get much sun so please consider heating it in future as that would have made our staff a 5 star. Otherwise the staff were super friendly, our room clean and the proximity to the lovely Takapuna beach and all the cafes and restaurants you could ask for made our trip fabulous.

A beautiful property, in a fabulous location. The beach is just a few steps away. A great cafe nearby to enjoy a tasty meal whilst enjoying the sea views. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely use this property again and highly recommend it.
